Greenville Tech has partnered with Prisma Health to provide training in Emergency Healthcare Delivery for patients who become unexpectedly ill or injured. The course covers the role and competencies of the prehospital care provider, as well as the psychological, social, behavioral, economic, and environmental factors that affect individual and community health. Upon successful completion, eligible students will take the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) cognitive exam to become certified as South Carolina EMTs.

Prerequisite: Prisma Orientation

**Announcement**
Enrollment in this class is open to all Prisma employees who have received an invitation to complete their orientation along with a potential job offer. Tuition is currently covered by the Career Pathways Scholarship for eligible students.
