What is CCE?
CCE stands for Corporate and Continuing Education. CCE provides continuing education and retraining for the adult population, ranging from personal interest to career change. We are sometimes referred to as continuing education or continuing ed.
Do continuing education courses transfer?
Continuing education courses are non-credit and cannot be transferred to an academic area of study. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) do not count toward an academic degree or certificate. However, some continuing education health care classes provide points for a weighted admissions process into academic health programs. See instructors for details.

How do I create a new user account?
In order to register for courses online, you must have an account with Greenville Technical College. Creating an account also gives you online access to view your registration history, change your address, and more.
You can go to our Sign Up page to create a new account.
Note: You must have an email address to set up an account with us. The email address cannot be assigned to another user in our system. If the email address is assigned to another user, you will be notified and given the opportunity to enter a new email address.
How do I update my profile/contact information?
You may update your student profile at any time. After signing in, access the My Profile link to change any of the information. Click Edit at the bottom of the page. You may then edit any of the profile fields. When you are finished, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Submit.
What do I do if I've lost my password?
You can send a request for your password to be sent to your email address on our Lookup Password page.
How do I register for a class online?
To register for a class:
- Create an Account - The first time you register, you'll go to My Account Login and create an account. If you already have an account, proceed with log in. NOTE: You will still be allowed to add classes to your cart before you create an account or log in but will not be able to check out until you log in or create an account.
- Look Up Course - look up the course you want to enroll in on our Course Listing page.
- Add Course(s) to Enrollment Cart - add desired course(s) to cart.
- Log on to the system. Note: if you're already logged on, this step will be skipped.
- Proceed to Checkout - once you have added all the desired courses to your Enrollment Cart, click the Proceed to Checkout button to continue the registration process.
- Enter Payment Data - edit your personal information, if necessary, then click the Checkout button to continue to our Payment Service to make your payment.
- Registration Confirmed - when you are finished with the payment process, the Transaction Completed page is displayed, notifying you that you are enrolled in the course(s). A confirmation email with the registration specifics is also sent to your email address. At this time, you can safely log off the system.
When is payment due, and what methods of payment are accepted?
Payment in full is due when you register for a class. If registering online, use a credit card at checkout to complete the process. Cash and check payments are only accepted when registering for a class in person. If paying by check, make checks payable to Greenville Technical College. Please write the course number in the "For" field of the check. If you have any questions, contact us at CE Customer Service 864-250-8800.
How do I print a receipt?
To print a receipt, sign into your account and select My Transactions from the left menu, and locate the class. Under Action, select Print view and print your receipt.
Does financial aid cover CCE courses?
No, continuing education courses do not qualify for federal and state financial aid. There are resources available through various agencies that can provide help for continuing education students. The program manager of the course may have additional information or visit funding options for continuing education courses and training.
Are there payment plans available for continuing education courses?
No, payment is due in full at the time of registration.
Is there an application fee to register for continuing education courses?
In most cases, there is no application fee.

How can I find out what courses I'm registered in?
Sign in and select "My Transcript" from the left menu. In the upper left corner, there is an export link; select the format you would like and print.
Can I purchase books for continuing education courses at any Greenville Technical College bookstore?
Yes, in some cases. Check your confirmation receipt for required books and/or supplies. Books for some courses are included in the registration fee.
What is the cancellation policy if I am unable to attend?
Students are responsible for knowing and meeting the cancellation policy. You may cancel your registration with a seven-day notice before the start date of the class. A processing fee of $25 will be charged for cancellations from courses under $500 and $75 for courses over $500. Transferring your registration to another class is free if requested at least seven days before the original class begins. Only one transfer of a class is allowed. Cancellation or class transfers made with less than a seven-day notice will result in the total registration fee forfeiture. Please note that refunds will be applied to any outstanding debt owed to the college first.

Where can I get a continuing education transcript or duplicate certificate?
Sign in and select "My Transcript" from the left menu. In the upper left corner, there is an export link; select the format you would like and print. This would be considered an unofficial transcript.
Please note the CE transcript provides a Satisfactory or Unsatisfactory- a grade status.
Please contact Customer Service at 864-250-8800 or email ce@gvltec.edu to request an official transcript or duplicate certificate. State-regulated duplicate certificate requests are referred to the specific department due to special requirements.
An official transcript or duplicate certificate may be mailed or picked up when the required information is provided. In order to process this request, the following must be provided:
- Completed and signed the release of health information form
- A copy of your driver's license or ID
- Social Security number
- The course name(s)
- Year taken
- Where to send the transcript
The fee for an official transcript that is picked up is $15.00, or mailed is $20.00.
The charge for a duplicate certificate is $15.00 (some exceptions apply).
You may not be required to have a Student ID card for your specific continuing education course of study. If a student ID is required, you will receive further details at registration or during class.
