After an asbestos inspection is performed, building owners often ask, "What do I do now?" In the 2-day Asbestos Management Planner course, you will learn how to use an asbestos inspection report to develop a working asbestos management plan focusing on procedures for conducting a hazard assessment, selection of asbestos control options, and implementation of an asbestos operations and maintenance plan. To comply with federal EPA regulations, local education agencies must maintain an asbestos management plan for all school buildings that contain asbestos. The Asbestos Inspector training is a prerequisite for this course.

This SC-DHEC and NC-DHHS-approved asbestos training may be used for licensing as an Asbestos Management Planner. For information about course approval for other state licensing, please contact Karen Hampton at 864-250-8438.
